Images play a very important role in getting your blog or website noticed. But, there are two major parts of using images to improve your website, one being the image itself which is helpful in attracting audience by using a attractive image and the second one is the ALT text of the images, this is not the one which the users see, but the information the search engines use to rank your images in the image search.
Optimising images for SEO is nothing but using ALT tags for each and every image that you post in your website. The sound of 'tags' might have reminded you of HTML, Yes! It is HTML but not to worry if you don't know HTML. In Blogger there is option when you upload an image which can be used to provided relevant ALT text to the image.
In this article I'm going to show you exactly how to optimise your Blogger images for a better SEO.
1. After you upload an image in your blogger post, select it by clicking on it.
2. Select the Properties option.
3. You will see something like the image shown below.
